It was all over the animation blogs. It was the same logic that worked recently with Spider-Verse. The first film made just under 500M worldwide, thus assuming this film costs 200M that is not really successful. It will likely cost less, but movies are making less today.

Until it comes out I will doubt the breakout hit. I remember when the second one was coming out, and I kept hearing it had 1 billion dollars in the bag, and that it had a great chance of passing Frozen. It got 621M worldwide.

If certain dinosaurs are not there then it probably is the best option. I would become an excellent tree climber and stick with trees.

In other words your expectations are defying gravity.

The highest grossing HtTYD movie made 620M worldwide. That is far from flop proof especially with people being pickier with theaters now.

The first film will be 15 years old then. If they were 10 that means 25 is old enough to have children now, but in most cases very young ones. I normally hear Gen Z does not have children until 27 meaning 13 year olds would have a one year old child by now. It is more like teenagers who saw it in theaters might now be old enough to have their own children. More realistically they need to target younger people whom are fans of the first one and at the point in their lives where they have income and no need to spend it on children.

2 weeks in and Joker is already out of the digital top 10.

I knew watching 116 Detective Comics Comics movies would come back to help me.

It opens at 6 on Digital.
