This film has two great famous scenes but it also is a pretty solid film in itself.

 

 

The film is know for "They Call me Mr. Tibbs"

 

and the first movie where a black guy slaps a white guy.

 

Till this date that scene is still pretty suprising, cannot imagine the effect of the scene during the civil rights movement.
