AniNate Posted March 15, 2014 Author Share Posted March 15, 2014 (edited) Definitely doesn't lack for thrills and Cuaron's visual flourishes, but the pilot was incredibly cheesy and contrived, and the girl's verbose philosophical musings clashed with her even more bizarre toddler-like mannerisms. Still, the adventure tone they seem to be going for has some potential. I'll give it another look.
