Ethan Hunt
I'm happy to see Anna and Elsa as 2 and 3( though I do wish other order could be reversed) I think Mulan should be higher. Why the hell is Rapunzel on the list though!
Blankments
How the hell do those character beat Belle and Simba.. Lol No Genie and Mickey at the top? How does Aladdin beat Genie? That's what I want to know
Spidey Freak
How does Aladdin beat Genie? That's what I want to know If you'd only look closer. Would you see a poor boy? No siree... No seriously, I cannot come up with a single male protagonist of color from any Hollywood film or show who was/is as awesome and personable as Aladdin. Jules Winnfield from Pulp Fiction, maybe? Calling him a "protagonist" is pushing it though. Edited August 18, 2014 by Spidey Freak
Spidey Freak
How the hell do those character beat Belle and Simba.. Lol Belle is an asshole. "Little town, full of little people!" Uhm bitch, no wonder they consider your condescending ass to be wacko! And the worst is how she is considered "progressive" and "feminist" for reading some stupid picture book with a prince rescuing a princess. Ariel rescued a fish and a prince from a shark and a burning shipwreck respectively. What did Belle do other than develop Stockholm Syndrome? That has nothing to do with the Genie completely overshadowing Aladdin and being the Disney comic relief character and the perfect marriage between celebrity voice actor and animation
Empire
I just looked at my list and I completely forgot to put Genie on it. If I had remembered him, he would have made my top 3. I feel stupid for forgetting him.
Spidey Freak
That has nothing to do with the Genie completely overshadowing Aladdin and being the Disney comic relief character and the perfect marriage between celebrity voice actor and animation Completely overshadowing? Aladdin is considered to be one of Disney's best male leads, if not THE best, and Jasmine and he are considered to be one of their best couples, if not THE best. "A Whole New World" was the song that broke out from that movie and became a Grammy, Oscar and Golden Globe winning pop-culture phenomenon, and that has no Genie in it whatsoever. That's not to say that the Genie isn't a landmark performance, coz he sure is groundbreaking. But the reason the movie is remembered so fondly is because all of the characters were brilliant. From the lead couple to Genie to the villainous Jafar and Iago and even Abu, Sultan and that sweet Magic Carpet. It is one of the best character ensembles in any movie, animated or live-action.
