I wonder if the Glory performance during the ceremony really upped Selma's presence. Actually, now I wonder if Best Song might be an award that could give an Oscar bump. I don't see any really clear data in the past decade, because films that won it were either largely done with their run at the time or they had also won other high profile awards that muddle the data. It's also called Untitled Joel Edgerton Project Under that name I was at least aware about the existence of the project, but not about it being already finished enough for that release date.
