Just bad, really bad. If I had to say something positive about this, it would be the final 5 minutes, that admittedly are excellent. 

I'm surprised I disliked the movie so much because I like all Cameron films

an enjoyable and successful b-film.

cameron made it a b-movie because he knew how hard he'd even try the budget would only allow this to be a b-movie. 

thus: an extreme b-movie, almost a parody of the b-genre. it looks and feels like like a b-movie. 

and it's awesome.
