WrathOfHan Posted February 17, 2016 Share Posted February 17, 2016 (edited) I thought it'd be a fun idea to combine the scores of movies from their RTM threads to see what the forum's opinion on a movie is. How it works: Movies get scored two weeks after release to ensure enough people have seen it (similar to the spoiler policy). Limited releases will work differently and vary from film to film. Movies must have around 10 votes or a gross over 50M to be graded. Both the letter grade and numerical grade will be shown. They will be graded via Metacritic's scale. If a user has voted in the poll and did a numerical or specific letter in his review, I'll count the one posted in the review. If the poll has anonymity, I'll count the scores in reviews and assume users with written reviews voted in the poll. Example: KFP3 has 9 votes and is anonymous; 4 people posted reviews with a score. Since I know what bracket they'd be in, I'd subtract them and count what the remaining reviews were. However, half the votes were on the positive side while the other half was mixed-negative, so it's pretty clear that was not an accurate representation of what the forum thinks.
