yjs
Besides Rouge One, I think three of those four movies will make it into the year-end top 10. How would you rank these four? for now I would place them all at the $250M~$300M range. Pets>SS>Beasts>Moana
yjs
but I really hope somehow Moana sneaks into the top 10. ? maybe I'm deliberately overestimating Pets just to be mentally ready for the case that it actually does explode cause even though I respect what Illumination's doing I still kinda secretly don't want Pets to make the top 10... ha, there, I said it! cannastop
Are we talking about the USA+Canada market? Anyways, 1. Moana: $400m max I see Frozen as the ceiling to this. 2. Secret Life of Pets: $325m max Zootopia would be the surprise threshold. 3. Fantastic Beasts: $320m max People might be enthusiastic to see a movie about wizards again, but with no Harry Potter, it's a gamble. 4. Suicide Squad: $300m max I don't see this exceeding Batman vs. Superman

Your predictions for these movies are very positive, btw. I do wanna see the eleven $300M movies for the year happen but at the same time would feel so bad for that eleventh movie not making the year-end top 10 despite the awesome $300M total. yjs
Maybe I'm underestimating the buzz that Moana's generating. After all its teaser trailer debuted very impressively, especially for a family film. (150k tweet counts during the week of its trailer debut) for the comparisons, when SS's and FB's latest trailers debuted in the same week SS smashed FB on Twitter with 507k to 30k tweet counts.\ but then again, different demo for those respective films, given the SS's fanbase.
