More of a Fincher flick (of course not the same level of filmmaking and technical perfection) than the one he made this year. A slow-burn horror with a fair amount of thrills and deals with ideas such as consciousness and thought transmission in a really ambitious and spiritual way that I haven't seen from this genre in a long time, maybe ever. Really excited to see what David Prior does after this. Like with Underwater, shame that this got dumped by Fox. Two films with cosmic horror elements that deserved to get way more attention.
