In a way, a classic. Even if it's recognised rather as a model for later movies than on its own, it's good for what it is ... a bold mixture between a classic whodunit with the usual jumble of motives, alibis, opportunities and hints, and a kind of early slasher movie (tame by today's standards, of course). Really has a touch of expoitation cinema, but the production values are very good, I especially liked the highly detailed and inventive sets/props and the bold colours and light.
