Brazil Box Office Thread

Recommended Posts

I have noticed many posts have been deleted. Where are the posts which Henry show the top 5?

I've noticed that too. Don't know why that happened.

Did I stumble into the Brazilian politics thread or something?

Brazil's presidential elections are this sunday. That's why we're talking about it.

IBOPE:

- Dilma Rousseff (PT): 36%

- Marina Silva (PSB): 21%

- Aécio Neves (PSDB): 16%

I'm moving to the caves. Sad to khow that people died in the demonstrations for NOTHING.

Dilma is more popular than we thought in the first place

Actually, this is the unestimulated poll. The one where people were presented with the names of the candidates is even scarier:

Dilma Rousseff (Workers Party): 39%

Marina Silva (Socialist Party): 25%

Aécio Neves (Social Democracy Party): 19%

And Datafolha's poll is the newest and is even more pro Dilma:

Dilma: 40%

Marina: 25%

Aécio: 20%

Second Round:

Dilma: 49%

Marina: 41%

Dilma: 50%

Aécio: 41%.

Wasn't everyone against Dilma?

Well, we were. But then the other parties just went with the worst options to run against her. Aécio is a drug adict (I'm not even joking) and Marina is only a candidate because Eduardo Campos, who wasn't going to win, died in a plain crash. Marina had the election on her hands, but than change her mind on several matters and people lost trust on her.

Edit: The worst part is: the social democracy party had the perfect candidate to beat Dilma: Geraldo Alckmin, governor of São Paulo, but they chose senator Aécio Neves anyway. I'll never understand that.

People are saying that the polls are a fraud.

The polls are not a fraud. Ibope is against the government and so is Datafolha. They have no reason to point a victory for Dilma.

They said the polls were a fraud because the interviewer don't even pay attention to what you say. That's what they said.
