I'm confident Maybe you're right and DC isn't bad rated in general

I'm confident Wonder Woman will be great, I really want it to be great.
Fullbuster
In local currency Strange will probably crush Guardians of the Galaxy. And I don't even talk about Ant-Man ^^"
Fullbuster
HP8 got $35m in 2011, that was a big number back then, curious to see if the magic is still alive among fans, Fantastic Beasts will answer this on November
Fullbuster
It won't be easy to compare Strange with other comicbook movies given it's a 5-day OW...recent comicbook movies have a 4-day OW while older ones have 3-day OW.

Strange will pass Guardians of the Galaxy despite an exchange rate that is way worse than in 2014.
Fullbuster
Good thing though : thanks to a great WOM and a weak competition next week it should hold very well!
Durden
If $8m is correct, this is almost R$26m in Real. Comparison (in Real): Guardians of the Galaxy - R$11.2m Ant-Man - R$11.8m Even Deadpool opened with R$25.1m Edited November 7, 2016 by Durden

Fullbuster
On Thursday : Jack Reacher 2, Doctor Strange should hold well and could even retain its top spot. On November 17 : Fantastic Beasts I expect JR2 to bomb, as for FB it's more difficult to predict but an OW around $6-9m seems very likely. Fullbuster
Doctor Strange grossed R$17.7m in 4 days, they didn't count the OD (Wednesday) so the real number must be around R$24m.

By the way, will you watch Fantastic Beasts? Yes but I'll wait for the 2nd week because Harry Potter movies have a bad reputation for the fans being too loud and messy on opening weekends. I was mad they cast Johnny Depp, but it's JK Rowling writing the scripts, I'm sure it will be good and she deserves the success.
