Purple Minion
Weekly numbers. Fairly quiet days: MJ2 reaches US$11.5M, Little Prince on its way to the predicted US$6M and Spectre loses steam. No Thu info for TGD so guess the 4-day weekend will be reported on Monday. Purple Minion
Admission-wise the Sinsajos are not that far away after one full week! TGD is underperforming in Europe. Would that be a sign of things to come here, or would the Mexican market remain stubbornly loyal to big studio animation?
Purple Minion
Well I for sure wasn't expecting such a low OW for TGD ... eclipsed by HT2 and less than half of IO May be in risk to reach US$15M! Deadline TGD #1, US$3.6M OW. MJ2 #2. US$14.4M total. Weekend must have been close to US$3M, a 66% drop. BoxOffice.com Victor Frankenstein #3, US$1.8M OW. Higher than Last Witch Hunter. Purple Minion
Actuals are in. Horrible start for TGD, less than US$3.5M, MJ2 was this close to win the weekend even with a 60%+ drop... Purple Minion
Weekly gross. TGD barely breaks 75M lc, US$10M may not happen. Gulp at Frankenstein earning more than half of the US gross
Purple Minion
Weekend figures, to be updated... Deadline TGD total US$6.7M, translating into a US$2+ weekend so repeats at #1. Surprising, decent hold. Boxoffice.com In the Heart of the Sea: #2, US$1.8M OW. Victor Frankenstein: US$845K weekend, US$3.4M total, #1 international market so far. Purple Minion
Weekend gross, horrible start of December with TGD and MJ2 under-performing, up to SW7 to lift things up! Little Prince still in the Top 5 and close to US$6M. Some updated totals in LC: HT2: 398,022,570 Spectre: 190,610,470 Edited December 8, 2015 by Purple Minion
Purple Minion
Seems everyone is doing Christmas shopping in Mexico rather than going to the movies, or just saving their money for SW7. Unlucky for The Force, ER is the lowest ever. In the Heart of the Sea this close to win the week!
Purple Minion
Weekend figures! BoxOffice.com TGD: US$8.7M total, which means a US$1.3M weekend and probably #1 again. Drop was only 30% so it could reach USS10M after all. ITHOTS: US$1.1M weekend, #2, US$3.8M total. Krampus: Flop! US$0.27K OW. Even Venezuela had a higher gross. Deadline Victor Frankenstein: US$4.22M total. Edited December 13, 2015 by Purple Minion

druv10
Purple Minion what's the expectation for SW7? OD, OW & total?
Purple Minion
No idea on the OD/OW since it will be very front-loaded, but Christmas should give it legs. Total probably over 700M lc and US$40M+, ER is abysmal.
Purple Minion
Had forgotten to upload the weekend numbers, here they are. Last Witch Hunter resilient, 7 weeks in the Top 10. TGD should hold his head high by reaching US$10M, but MJ2 may not do US$20M since everything will be annihilated by The Force.

I'd be surprised if it opens with less than 150M lc.So I forecast over US$30M, but could go as high as US$40M if WOM is strong. Of course ER could suddenly improve or implode.
