Wonder if we'll be getting some kind of trailer with the Coraline rerelease, that'd be a nice surprise

I hope so, already get my tickets for Coraline, but it would be nice to have a surprise trailer in it

Anyone know who is distributing it and if it will be theatrical? I could see Universal giving another go if Piece by Piece does well.

‘Coraline’ Is a Box Office Hit Again, Marking a New Chapter for Laika (thewrap.com)

And by being able to both scare and emotionally move millions of teens with a coming-of-age dark fantasy, “Coraline” formed the cornerstone of Laika’s still-growing reputation as a bastion for visually and narratively original animation. All five of the Oregon-based studio’s feature films have been nominated for the Best Animated Feature Oscar, and their sixth film, “Wildwood,” is set to hit theaters next April.

Implication from this article seems to be that it will remain a Fathom distribution effort

Will be an interesting endeavour for Fathom as their distribution strategy has been limited to rereleases and concert films. A new Laika film likely has a lot more costs.

They've actually released original movies. Mainly low-budget Christian stuff, but the precedence is there.

Lmfao, they removed April from the Wrap article. Now it just says 2025.

Annoying how a lot of people have been reporting that release frame but it seems they're all just going off a random internet source, not actually getting inside confirmation

Yes, Fathom has done some original releases.

I just wonder why Laika films have trouble getting general releases. It;s not like their movies seem just as commerical as some other animated films.
