Neo
Ummm... yeah, OK, back to The Avengers. Neo, and everybody else who's interested... here's a brief summary 'bout DizMar's plans for not one, but TWO new MU films that are TBA. It confirms the 2 mystery projects WILL be released after the IM, Thor, & Cap sequels, but before TA2. It includes a direct quote from Kevin Feige himself, and stems from a video interview he did with Bloomberg on May 13th of this year... the Sunday of TA's HUGE, record-breaking second weekend BO take! Behold, True Believers: In a video interview with Bloomberg earlier today, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige said that the studio plans to make two movies a year for the foreseeable future, and that shortly after Captain America begins filming they will start shooting a pair of films which have yet to be announced. “We want to do two films a year,” said Feige. “Avengers is our only film this year, but in a week and a half we begin filming Iron Man 3. By the end of the summer we’ll be working on the next Thor film, early next year the next Captain America film. Those are the three we’ve announced so far; we’ve got two beyond that that we haven’t announced yet, but we’re working on.” Here's a link that has the vid w/Feige, http://www.slashfilm...ompanys-future/ , and here's an important eXcerpt from the article itself: Here’s the Marvel release schedule as we know it: [*]May 3rd 2013 – Iron Man 3 [*]November 15th 2013 – Thor 2 [*]April 4th 2014 – Captain America 2 [*]May 16th 2014 – Untitled Marvel Movie #1 And here's a video report speculating the 2 DizMar mystery movies are most likely Ant-Man & Guardians of the GalaXy(which seems to be the general consensus, BTW): Also, it's assumed the 2nd MU pic will hit theaters in 2015, prior to TA2. EXcited yet?! I AM!!!
HeyItsMoses
CA2 released in April? Why such a shitty month?
Orestes
CA2 released in April? Why such a shitty month?Definitely an odd choice. If ever there's been a superhero that should get a July 4th movie release, its Captain America.
HeyItsMoses
Completely agree. At least that way there is 2 months in between films, instead of 1 month, and that month being fuckin april!
Neo
Feige knows the 2nd Marvel movie of 2014, but hasn't announced it yet, could it be at Comic-Con?

druv10
Sounds like we'll get GOTG either 2014 or 2015 before TA2. Awesome news!!!!
chrislw47130
From my understanding, GotG is actually supposed to lead into TA2, which could be pretty cool if handled right. If the GotG show up on Earth just to warn The Avengers of Thanos impending arrival, then that would make me even happier 'cause I really want to see a full Avengers roster before they take on the likes of Thanos, meaning they really need Black Panther, The Vision and The Scarlet Witch. As far as the GotG movie, I've heard rumors that they may also include NOVA in the storyline which, for me, would be the ULTIMATE in cool 'cause old Buckethead's been a fave of mine ever since his arrival back in 1976!!! Captain Craig
I think the interesting thing of note in Phase 2, if it all happens, is the inclusion of two films that are both of a team nature. They spent time building to Avengers, which as right, then they are just going to toss out GOTG and Inhumans. Granted you wouldn't build to those films by doing solo films I just find the shift worth commenting upon.

MagnetMan
Is this in estimated chronological order? Ant-Man before GotG? I know it's still anybody's guess... but is that how you personally see it?

Neo
Feige:...I see Phase Two unfolding in the same way of us taking our time, us doing what's right for each individual movie, while folding in elements that will not only build up to the culmination of Phase Two, but even Phase Three.
