Do musicals require lighting supervisors? I can't imagine what role a lighting supervisor for an animated film can play in an on-stage musical adaptation.

Frozen short probably. I don't think they're planning to make a sequel.

No musical, as Rysu said, Mr Jacomini works for CGI animation, and no short: "Frozen fever" isn't a secret project, it has been officially scheduled in spring 2015.

Disney's Frozen is the UK's biggest-selling DVD and Blu-ray disc of the year so far, having racked up sales of 2.44 million, according to Official Charts Company data. The animated musical, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale The Snow Queen, also holds the title of the fastest-selling DVD and Blu-ray of the year so far, shifting 900,000 copies during its first week on sale back in March.

It's a global phenomenon. In addition to generating more than $1 billion at the box office and being the highest-grossing animated movie ever, Frozen has become Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment's top-selling title in more than 10 years, according to Alan Bergman, the studio's president, speaking at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch 2014 Media, Communications & Entertainment Conference in Los Angeles.

The Hobbit - The Desolation of Smaug takes second place on the UK best-sellers Top 40. The movie, which is the second installment of the film series based on J.R.R Tolkien's novel The Hobbit was released on DVD and Blu-ray in April this year and has since sold 1.19 million copies.

The third-biggest selling DVD and Blu-ray of 2014 so far is The Hunger Games - Catching Fire. The second part of the Hunger Games series has sold 934,000 since its release in March this year.

The Lego Movie, which has been available to buy since July, places fourth on the list on 875,000.

Rounding off the Top 5 is science fiction thriller Gravity. The multi-Oscar winning film, which stars Sandra Bullock and George Clooney has shifted 791,000 DVDs and Blu-ray discs since its release in March.

Further down the Top 40 to date, Captain America - The Winter Solider places tenth on the list after selling 493,000 six weeks after its release, and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - released a month ago - is a Number 13 with 389,000 units sold.

Looking at Amazon global site we can see that the top ten bestellers for Dolls & accessories is at the moment entirely occupied by Frozen-related products. Poor Barbie!

It's embarrassing for Belgium considering all Studio 100 productions are complete crap. They simply figured out the secret to success: lots of overexposure to the very youngest children who don't see the difference in quality yet.

I'm glad they're not bigger than Disney in the Netherlands yet. Something I also don't see happening ever.

I hate the concept that if something is for 3 year olds that it's allowed to be crap. It's such a lazy attitude.

But I agree Het Huis Anubis was good. And also a hit internationally.

Yeah the problem is: take bumba, it's dumb, you don't learn anything with it, they just do stupid things that don't make sence. But a lot kids love that, so I don't know why but it's also a hit.
