Estimated screen counts is at about 40%, or more than 4,000 screens of the 11,000 national wide. Early reports indicated that Avengers debuted about 3M-ish yuan through Friday midnight, which is on par with Transformers 2 in Summer 2009. Though with a lowwer PTA than MI4 at the same time of opening day, online tickets sale by Saturday evening suggests TA is doing very close to MI4 opening day and 2-days-opening week thanks to 3D and more showtimes. Word of mouth from audience looks quite strong, not on Avatar/Titanic/Inception level, but on TF3/MI4 level. So solid legs can be expect until Men in Black 3 hits.
