forg
The Hunger Games gross last year: $3,295,973 Catching Fire almost beat it in JUST 5 DAYS! Impressed!
kaijukurt
Quite a haul for Catching Fire!Given that it opened lower than Thor 2, but with more wide releases in the upcoming weeks, I think this'll end with around 6.5 million. kayumanggi
$5.5m in the Philippines and $4.3m in Taiwan for further impressive results in those two Asian markets, especially given the devastation caused in the Philippines by Typhoon Haiyan. That's awesome!

forg
^ it's Metro Manila Film Festival held every year where only Filipino movies for 2 weeks beginning Dec. 25 are shown [except IMAX screens]. The film fest is not really for art films but commercial movies so slapstick comedies, horrors, fantasy-comedies and melodrama dominate.
