Community Manager Water Bottle Posted April 7, 2013 Author Community Manager Share Posted April 7, 2013 It's time for BUZZ UPDATES! Unlike last time, where I added them to each pilot's “Will it be Good” I'm going to post them here. Pilots that do not have buzzes* are still in production or early post-production. ORDERED TO SERIES: Dads Untitled Michael J. Fox Project CURRENTLY VERY HOT: Big Thunder Venice Bad Management Untitled Goor & Schur Project Rake Mom Beverly Hills Cop (might be dependent on how committed Eddie Murphy is to the role) Hostages The Sixth Gun Untitled Sean Hayes Project Assistance The Originals The Hundred CURRENTLY HOT: Betrayal Gothica How the F*** Am I Normal? Safe at Home (James Caan has been getting positive reception) Trophy Wife Super Fun Night Enlisted I Suck at Girls Friends and Family To My Assistant Gang Related The List Boomerang Super Clyde The Unauthorized Greg Garcia Pilot Crazy Ones The McCarthys Friends with Better Lives Untitled NCIS: Los Angeles Spin-Off Project Second Sight Intelligence Backstrom (Script was favorite of CBS brass) Believe The Blacklist I am Victor Untitled Rand Ravich Project The Gates Welcome to the Family Undateable About a Boy Oxygen DARK HORSES: Reckless The Returned House Rules Sleepy Hollow The Selection (considered mass improvement over last year's pilot) Reign (getting good points on visuals) (*SHIELD has no buzz at this point because Marvel/Whedon haven't shown it to anyone-it's under tight lock and key)
Leatherface
I hope 6th Gun gets picked up. Sounds interesting and would be a perfect fit with Revolution for NBC. I've gotta believe that the Robin Williams show will be picked up by CBS because well, it stars Robin Williams which alone would create buzz. Kind of how Kevin Bacon starring in The Following basically guaranteed it getting picked up. Edited April 7, 2013 by Leatherface
Community Manager Water Bottle Posted April 7, 2013 Author Community Manager Share Posted April 7, 2013 I've gotta believe that the Robin Williams show will be picked up by CBS because well, it stars Robin Williams which alone would create buzz. Kind of how Kevin Bacon starring in The Following basically guaranteed it getting picked up. The problem is that CBS basically has three shows that should be guaranteed ones: Crazy Ones (Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar!), one of the Greg Garcia ones, and Mom but they really only have one, two at most, spots open. Plus I imagine Bad Teacher (based on movie), Ex Men (Kal Penn, Tony Shalhoub and Jerry O'Connell), and a few others are still in the running. There's talks CBS is going to add more comedy hours so they can order more shows...but it's going to be a tough choice. From what I understand, CBS is really pleased with their current comedy pilot selection so that's hopefully good news. Still it's early-we have a month and buzzes can significantly change in that time frame.

Community Manager Water Bottle Posted April 19, 2013 Author Community Manager Share Posted April 19, 2013 Cast update definably coming this weekend-hopefully the last one. Buzz update with it. Anyways: NBC has commissioned four backup scripts of After Hours. This seems to hint that the network is edging towards a series order but still not a guarantee. fishstick
Buzz has been good. It's currently a frontrunner. frontrunner for what? Awards? Ratings? It must die. I don`t care about the pilot buzz. Smash had amazing pilot buzz and it won`t survive this season. Down with Shitto. No awards for Shitto. None. No. I won`t allow it. What`s the buzz on Shitto? She cnanot possibly be visible in the shadow of Kinner and Bojana Novakovic who is young and hot. Edited April 23, 2013 by fishnets

I have heard nothing about Miranda Otto. That doesn't mean anything, though, as it's rare when an actor or actress gets into the buzz updates.
