whoot
I'm curious about how leggy this will be. Honestly after last year, a total of $215m with a 3.8x multiplier would make me happy.
kayumanggi
I expect at least 4x.

Rudolf
New clip http://news.moviefone.com/2012/05/17/brave-clip-a-princess-does-not-leave-her-weapons-on-the-table_n_1524551.html The animation of the hairs is amazing, but it looks (from the physics) like the figures are the size of small puppets and not humans. This surely is itentional, or?
AniNate
It's pretty common in animated films to "cartoonize" human bodies. Brave's humans are no more exaggerated than the ones in The Incredibles.
JackO
$64 million according to Box Office Buzz That's great tracking from this far out. 80M possible? I'm glad to see Pixar's return to form get rewarded!
Rudolf
It's pretty common in animated films to "cartoonize" human bodies. Brave's humans are no more exaggerated than the ones in The Incredibles. with the 3D I think them more puppet like - and the physics of the hair movements suggest kneehigh-puppets For me they overdo the distancing from going the Mars Needs Moms way. We all know that does not work, but why go so far in the other direction?
Rudolf
The more I see it , the more I think it will do great at the BO (I had hoped for something different following the first pictures shown)
Hiccup
I think Cars 2 bad reception will affect this film. Outside of the internet I have only heard negative things about this movie. I think it will open smaller but see great legs. 49M/210M
AniNate
Well, online hype for this movie is significantly higher than it was for Cars 2 http://www.google.com/insights/search/#cat=0-3-34&q=brave%2Ccars%202&geo=US&date=today%2012-m&cmpt=q At this time last year Cars 2 had a 21% interest level. Brave currently has 31%. Edited May 18, 2012 by tribefan695

Gideon
My predictions for Brave are 80/320. oh! Very high. But would be soo cool. Last non-sequel animated over 300M? FindingNemo, 9 years ago?
Mayhem2x3
oh! Very high. But would be soo cool. Last non-sequel animated over 300M? FindingNemo, 9 years ago? Up got the closest since then. I don't see Brave surpassing Up.
