This is considered by several people, to be the least popular in the Shrek series, reception-wise.

 

But...i dunno...i found this to be as funny as the other 3 Shrek films. New characters like Artie was a pretty nice and fine character. Oh, and Justin Timberlake does a good job giving the character, more of a personality.

 

Rupert Everett as Prince Charming, is diabolical, yet hilarious on his own. I could easily understand Charming's motivation of revenge in this film, due to the defeat of his mother, "The Fairy Godmother" from the second film.

 

The characters, themselves are their usual selves. Eddie Murphy as Donkey & Antonio Banderas as Puss, are still hilarious together.

Such a step down from the second film all the way around. Maybe time will have softened my view because I haven't seen it since sometime in 2009 but I doubt it. My grade at release was a C+ and it remains that way.
