It is a loooooooooooooong movie but its still a hell of a fun movie too. Tons of great moments and good comedic performances. 

It really comes across that they had a good time making this.

The one thing that keeps this from being great is that not all characters work equally well, and there's a whole bunch of them. But at least two thirds of the scenes are really good!

It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World is fairly bloated. There is some good reasoning behind this comedy being two and a half hours long, that being its huge cast of characters needing time to be well-developed in order to truly shine. This pays off decently, but also it's hard to imagine a half hour trimmed would really hurt it. That said, it's consistently funny, with some really great comedic setpieces too. The cast is stacked with really fantastic comedians, and the climax is truly memorable, and lives up to the title. It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World is an enjoyable comedic epic, but definitely commits the sin of the era of being much too long for its own good. B
