I hate to be that PLOTHOLES! INCONSISTENCIES! doofus, but what happened with Colossus X-Men no killing rule? I mean, he sends/let them take Deadpool to prison for killing a single person but then at the end Deadpool kill the entire hospital staff and he doesn't make a peep, he even smiles? Also, for a superhero movie that boasts about not being like other conventional superhero movies, unnecessarily having hordes of faceless people to kill at the third act surely is very superhero-y. Anyway, this is approaching the first one levels of terrible after sleeping on it.

Obviously, it’s more enjoyable due to Leith involvement, this actually resembles an actual cinematic movie unlike the first one, but the jokes, the ones that are actually funny, are still too few and far in between and the action is excessive and mind-numbing and cling to cheap CGI as much as Deadpool clings to god-awful meta jokes. It’s just so very boring.

I liked it.... slightly better than the first. 3/10 Has anyone mentioned that this is pretty much a DOFP remake? Or has that been pointed out to death alreadt? Didn’t read reviews. Post credit scene is absolutely the most obnoxious thing to ever exist.

For Brazil I like Basic Sanitation a lot, and it's on Netflix US. Pretty funny comedy. Aquarius, The Second Mother, City of God are more boring choices, but they're critically acclaimed Brazillian movies that that made it overseas and are about Important Issues. A Dog's Will (Auto da Compadecida) is a local classic and probably the most famous Brazillian movie that is pretty much unknown outside Brazil. I doubt you gonna find it through legal means, tho.

I haven’t seen a 2D Disney Classic in like 15 years or so, and even then I think I had only seen the old princess movies and BatB (sister had them all on vhs lol). Time to time I think in marathoning them, but then I’m like I’m 23 what I’m really going to get out of it? The time to watch them has passed, and it will be forever a black hole on my film dude curriculum most probably.

I was very surprised when I saw Rocky last year for the first time and actually liked it a lot. Seemed like a movie custom made to bore me. Also, shout-out to Rocky V being quite decent, and the second best Rocky.

I can’t make the distinction between appreciation and enjoyment myself. Movies are as good as they are watchable, independently of tone or how heavy or brilliantly executed they are.

Going out with friends is preferable to doing nothing, you know. This just reminds me that friends invited me to see Deadpool tomorrow with them.

Not sure why it's so hard to grasp that musicals are movies first and foremost and not showcases for actors singing and dancing talents.

CriticHulk essays makes me feel like such a dumbass (more than I already am). Read one on Nolan last night, and while I donnt disagree with what he wrote on Int and TDKR, I read the entire thing in defensive mode thinking ‘I dunno, it’s well shot and makes me cry’.

Logan has not aged well. Not sure if I would have enjoyed it at all if I wasn’t such a Singer’s X stan.
