  2. The forum was down for the last 2 hours right?Or was it just me?
  3. Cap 2 is doing well, it is just another case of disappointment due to the forumers' lofty expectations
  4. If a small Christian movie like God is Not Dead could do well, Heaven is For Real which is based from a popular book for its target audience and has a major studio backing it up with a recognizable star (Greg Kinnear) on it, that movie really has a shot to breakout
  5. Saw Rio 2 and it's really not bad. It's nothing new of course but it's solid movie for kids. The animation is bright and colorful while the music is good as well. It won't have a direct competition until..... How To Train You Dragon 2 right? Could have good legs

  7. BOM skipped a week of updates.Really strong for Diary ng Panget. Philippines Box Office April 2–6, 2014 TW LW Movie Studio Weekend Gross Change Screens Change / Avg. 8. Muppets ended up a #5. I think they can still make a muppets movie but budget should be around 25M so they can be profitable Good for Mr. Peabody & Sherman but since fellow FOX movie Rio 2 is on next week might suffer a big glow, I can imagine it losing a lot of theaters Frozen actually increased despite losing theaters. Non stop did really well. Could end around mid 90s Wow at Nut Job's holds just -12% Gravity also increased this week, is it doing the rounds of dollar theaters now?
  9. Muppets Most Wanted will likely end with a mid-50s gross, still disappointing but oh well Peabody's holds are really good. Too bad overseas performance is not good but I don't think it will be a big money loser for Dreamworks Animation Divergent is doing solid as well. Lionsgate's investment was worth it
  10. It's getting the prize 18-49 demo rating that no show is getting since the heyday of American Idol, so yeah AMC will want more episodes as much they can. Breaking Bad is over and despite the critical acclaim Mad Men was never a ratings hit and they haven't successfully launched a new show in years, so TWD will be stretched for a loooong time
  11. Journey 2 The Mysterious Island was not bad either in 3D. I wonder if a 3rd Journey movie will happen
  12. Yeah may posters na din kasi in theaters. I dunno when it will be shown now sa bagal ng court cases dito. UIP and Solar should really settle this out of court, pareho naman silang talo dito
  13. Diary ng Panget is actually just Viva but they did promotion on both networks and the book apparently is insanely popular so if it does not have any star power, the material itself is enough to sell tickets
  14. Definitely. Godzilla will have competition with Star Cinema romcom (Sarah G-Coco Martin) unlike TASM2 where it will likely 90% of screens
  15. Matagal pa naman July, they will work things out I'm sure because Transformers is a big movie for them to delay. Personally, I think it's UIP's fault, they do have a contract with Solar, I was also surprised when I received a press release from Columbia that they'll distribute Noah when Solar already had it in their 2014 schedule that they sent to the press last December
  16. Definitely and will start a trend. We will see more of these type of books adapted into movies too. It's like our version of the YA craze in the US. Diary ng Panget is the Twilight
  17. Oh typical "disappointment" over lofty expectations Cap 2 is doing great As for the sitcoms talks in the previous pages, my favorite one right now is not an Internet fan favorite - ABC's The Middle (and it's very different from Malcolm in The Middle for those who haven't seen it but feels it's a ripoff - it's not)
