  1. Then that wouldn't be helped by the shootings I'd imagine. What a disappointing number if true, its pretty obvious now the shootings had an effect.
  2. We have no clue, apparently WB has blocked all the numbers.
  3. Wow, the 6am showing here is sold out! I found that surprising because yesterday's showing at the same time had like only 10 people.Nice to see people see the movie regardless of what happened.
  4. I'd recommend watching the film multiple times before giving your final impressions. Its much better the second time, when you're like "Ohhh I get it now" or "I missed what happened here"
  5. That's ironic because for me the film felt so damn short, I guess I was enjoying it too much. When I left the showing I was wondering if I was ripped off and they showed a short version of it, but my watch said 2:50.
  6. This is going to be tough for us. I can forsee two days of speculating.
  7. Seriously? Wow. I feel like this guy is trying to bring down everyone.
  8. Wow, if we don't learn any numbers till Monday...This just pisses me off that one man ruined it for all.
  9. If WB can keep reviews embargoed for most of the month I'm sure they can block numbers easily, unless they don't care.
  10. The biggest plot hole for me was Wayne's knee. Didn't he need a cane to walk in the beginning of the film, so how did he get the cartilage for his knee again?Besides that I haven't had any issues. The blood transfusion part confused me till what riczhang said.
  11. Are they seriously trying to tie the movie with the tragedy? Really? Granted I see the articles point, but some of the random connections are just random.
  12. "Speaking on behalf of the cast and crew of The Dark Knight Rises, I would like to express our profound sorrow at the senseless tragedy that has befallen the entire Aurora community. I would not presume to know anything about the victims of the shooting but that they were there last night to watch a movie. I believe movies are one of the great American art forms and the shared experience of watching a story unfold on screen is an important and joyful pastime. The movie theatre is my home, and the idea that someone would violate that innocent and hopeful place in such an unbearably savage way is devastating to me. Nothing any of us can say could ever adequately express our feelings for the innocent victims of this appalling crime, but our thoughts are with them and their families." - Christopher Nolan
  13. Agreed. I found Bane intimidating and scary. It was more of body language then actual words said.
  14. Pretty much, but i think it'll flat slightly from Friday minus midnights.
  15. I'll be happy of anything over 80m to be honest at this rate.
  16. I think the night showings will be stronger, most of the showings here after 5pm are full of people.
  17. I went down to the local theater few hours ago, and it seems like the place has good activity. Also there was police presence.
  18. That's just haunting. I will never forget that. "@JessicaRedfield wrote about that June shooting: "I was reminded that we don’t know when or where our time on Earth will end.""
  19. They haven't even finished counting. Doesn't include 3am shows.
  20. Nothing I'd imagine. There's shooting scenes in plenty of films, should we ban guns in a movie now?
