Mike Colter is Luke Cage. He'll show up first in Jessica Jones.
QuoteMarvel and Netflix are proud to announce that Mike Colter will star as Luke Cage in "Marvel's A.K.A. Jessica Jones," an all-new 13-episode series premiering on Netflix in 2015 following "Marvel's Daredevil."
During the course of an investigation in New York City, private investigator Jessica Jones encounters the enigmatic Luke Cage – a man whose past has secrets that will dramatically alter Jessica in ways she could never have imagined.Colter will star opposite Krysten Ritter, who plays the title role in “Marvel’s A.K.A. Jessica Jones.”
“Mike embodies the strength, edge and depth of Luke Cage,” said Executive Producer/Showrunner Melissa Rosenberg. “We're excited to have him bring this iconic Marvel character to life.”
"Fans have longed to see Luke Cage and in Mike we’ve found the perfect actor,” said Jeph Loeb, Executive Producer/Marvel's Head of Television. "Viewers will get to meet Luke Cage in ‘Marvel’s A.K.A. Jessica Jones,’ and experience why he is such an important super hero in the Marvel mythos.”- 1

GOTG was fine. Solid, competently made... but it hasn't stuck at all.
Well, at your age, does much of anything stick?

I think it looks cute. It's probably getting bagged because for some reason, elitist film snobs believe kids should be seen and not heard in movies. They tend to bag on a lot of live action kids flicks, especially when it's about a little girl.
Little girls are known carriers of the cooties virus.

A remake? Ooh not sure it's a classic all it's own..
Which was a remake of another classic.

They were boring. I've seen this movie twice, and I can't for the life of me even remember their names.
Only character name I remember is Elba's, only because its so ridiculous.
Wait, Hunnam's character wasn't named Wooden Boardman, was it? Cause then i remember two.

I liked Godzilla, even if the movie I saw wasn't the movie that was advertised.

Twilight isn't as awful as everyone says ^^
Oh god, its worse?

I honestly think IS can do 170DOM and 500OS. That would be a fantastic #!
And if someone had started a club for Guardians #1 film DOM of 2014, who would have joined?
I might've, but I wouldn't actually have believed it would happen. I didn't think the over 250m club would happen either.

^This. In no way, is Hunger Games a franchise like Twilight.
Not in terms of quality at any rate.

Then again, IS may get a boost from the people who watched D&D and found it too dumb and wanted to watch something smart in an effort to restore some brain cells.
Dunno, never saw evidence of that happening on any of the Transformers OWs.

These aren't the derailments you're looking for.

How many schools have veterans day off? I never had it off as a kid.
They're off in my district in LA county.

How can they miss counting $2.5m??
Didn't Paramount fuck up Transformers number too?
The Transformers thing was different, as it involved actuals, not just estimates.

Works for me

Wonder how much lower itll go when the actuals come in. Below The Squeakquel?
Will it fall under SQUEAKQUEL with actuals?

Here are the films on the list that opened similar to Interstellar. Interesting.

I'm fluttering on the edge of thinking that INTERSTELLAR is Nolan's worst movie.
Does that speak poorly of Interstellar, or well of his other movies?
-
So bad. Can't believe that's the take they settled on.
-
It does have a pretty awesomely bad death scene.

No. The first Trek's success was due almost entirely to the main cast and JJs direction of them. The movie itself was kind of stupid.
