I would say my interest in this has taken a bit of a downturn, but then i realized I didn't have any interest in the first place :/. Hunnam, out of a choice between him, Courteney, and Cavill? Did no one else audition?

But if women are allowed to become consistent draws at the box office they'll expect the right to write and direct movies next.
Wonder if its possible for cooties to be transmitted via watching a movie screen, because those things happening would probably do it.

I was pondering one of those "alternate universe" thoughts the other day. I was thinking; what would the Post-Avengers MCU be like had they stuck with Paramount instead of being bought by Disney? Would we have even gotten GOTG? Would they have had the balls to release CA2 in April over a normal blockbuster month like May or November? Hell, would they have branched out to the Holiday season for Thor?
At least Paramount would've fudged Cap2 over 260.

GOTG is a flat out beast. 300 is locked.
I know that feel. I get it every time a Bay movie comes out.

I love retconning history. Now, I'm hearing all over the internets the original was bad, when at the time it came out, it was almost universally hailed as "fresh" and "groundbreaking".
I liked the original Sin City. It was pretty nifty. The only thing about it that I really didn't like was Madsen. He was awful in it, which was a shame as I usually like his work.

I still think Summer 2014 is one of the best if not the best summer we've ever had quality-wise.
I can agree with that. Quite a few good movies at just about all levels, from blockbuster to indie.

Wonder what happened to Robert Rodriguez. El Mariachi, Desperado, and From Dusk Till Dawn were all pretty good. Then he did a bunch of kids films and he's been kinda rubbish ever since.
