  1. Noctis is the worst LOL!!! You missed it, though. He got me good. I was so depressed about BH6's Friday numbers. Bastard.
  2. Damn…. I am getting antsy for it. Following reviews and reactions the day before I go see a movie just ups the excitement factor. Some of my friends on twitter really, really loved it a lot.
  3. Hoping it's on the high end of that. (fucking Noctis in the Weekend numbers thread )
  4. It was actually a legitimately brilliant prank. And back in my day, I was the target of a large number of awesome pranks by my girlfriends… So, um, well done Noctis. You motherfucker.
  5. Oh I actually thought it was hilarious… well, now. I just want DA NUMBERS YO!
  6. Goddamn motherfuckers screwing around in this thread… I had to drink a beer to make me feel better about BH6's poor performance. DRINK A BEER! ON MY BIRTHDAY!! Okay, maybe that wasn't so bad
  7. But BH6 isn't in any IMAX is it? I thought that on average, IMAX tix are more expensive than even 3D.
  8. Not going to negate Andy's importance to the original trilogy, but honestly, Andy was our generation, and now the next gen, kids like my son, will look at Bonnie and identify with her. Plus, Andy served as one motivation for the toys; they can still develop a story that continues to focus on the toys themselves and developing a relationship with Bonnie. It's a new arc for the story altogether. I can see how it can work.
  9. I used up all my likes before getting to you, so LIKED! Still seems low… like either IS's demand burns off by Sat/Sun and BH6 just does monster business on those days. Like others stated above, I get that it's a kid's movie so the families will give it a big boost, but still seems like THR's math was off. THis is going to be very interesting to watch though.
  10. For both INTERSTELLAR and BH6? That's what I was wondering…. I wasn't sure about INTERSTELLAR since it had a limited release rollout throughout the week and they've reported numbers already for Tues-Wed.
  11. Is today's INTERSTELLAR number that RTH quoted above only for Friday? How then does THR project it to get below $60? And BH6's number seems too low to win the weekend… or am I not mathing right?
  12. I wouldn't be terribly surprised that BH6 pulls out the victory, since it's a family movie and WOM likely to be less polarizing than INTERSTELLAR. That said, I would also think that INTERSTELLAR'S IMAX must-see quotient is a factor to drive up the weekend's attendance, even if legs are a bit lacking over the next few weeks. So.
  13. #HAILMICKEY BH6 may drop a little bit percentage-wise, but damn that 90% is purdy!! Gahhhh…. I hate that I have to wait until tomorrow to watch it.
  14. Man, this latest flood of positive reviews makes me think that Disney wrongly imposed a longer embargo on this movie than was necessary. Hope it stays around 89%!
