  1. Liked for that Rupert avi ....um, is it wrong that I'm excited to get more Buzz/Jesse??? #cartoonOTP
  2. Just realized that this is the first TS movie I'll see with my son in the theater... *sniff*
  3. If people think this is better than BRAVE (which I thought was a'right.) and in the same vein as WRECK-IT RALPH (which I ADFGHJKL#%?! ADORED LIKE WHOA!) then I'm really likely to love this one.
  4. Mine's actually tomorrow! Yay Scorpios!! Ha! glad to hear kids are going crazy for it. My son's loves Baymax already. We're going to Disneyland next weekend for the Avengers Half Marathon, so you know we'll be buying all the BH6 MERCH possible,
  5. Though I haven't seen it yet, I'd love it if it got to 89% like Frozen. I really hope I love it as much as I loved Frozen too. It's nice to have movie for my son where the protagonist looks a heckuva lot like him
  6. It works on me… I feel cynical and 'meh' about the news, but once the actual meltdowns start from other posters, I start feeling a little more generous about it LOL!! It's the contrarian in me. And some are conveniently forgetting there's INSIDE OUT coming next year.
  7. Actually, they really haven't fallen either, LOL! Now, it's fair to criticize them for relying too much on sequels, but sequels don't necessarily = bad.
  8. Mm… Honestly, do weaker Spider-Man entries weaken the greatness of Spider-Man 1 or 2? Do the prequels leave a bad taste of the Star Wars original trilogy in anyone's mouth? Does Kingdom of the Crystal Skull make the other three Indy movies worse? Or does the Last Stand make X-Men 1 and 2 horrible? I don't really buy that subsequent installments make a superior franchise awful. If that one installment's not up to par with the brilliance that came before it, just ignore that movie and move on. I don't let the gawdawful ruin my love for what came before.
  9. There's my jaded, cynical part of me that's rolling my eyes at this… And then there the other side that knows I'll be dragging my son to see this with a Buzz Lightyear and Woody doll on each arm. So yeah, feel free to blame me for Pixar's continued success
  10. *Cabbage Patch Dance* Going to see this Saturday morning! I couldn't be more excited! And though I don't give two shits about good reviews, and am going to see this for my son (and me, as it's my birthday weekend!!) the positives are a nice cherry on top. Got a really nice string of good reviews today. Hope tomorrow it keeps posting some good ones.
  11. Fuck, we haven't seen Planes movies yet, but I buy the merch b/c my son's OBSESSED with the toys. Same with Cars. Only own the first one, but Lighting McQueen is the coolest, yo. Don't hate the player. Don't even hate Pixar's game.
  12. Okay, I am still cynical as fuck about this, but Rashida Jones is writing this? In. Teresting. ETA: She's written movies and developed TV shows. I had no idea she had some sort of deal with Disney though.
  13. I adore the holy hell out of Frozen, but it did score about an 84% on RT, right? It was universally loved by audiences probably. It was highly regarded by critics.
  14. He can be pretty and quiet. If… if he channeled Red Krypton Clark Kent, we could get Pretty Perturbed Clark Kent as Black Bolt. So…. after watching MALEFICENT (and it all to hell!!), can I throw in Angelina Jolie as a fancast for Medusa? I think she could rock a deep red wig.
  15. I was actually a little worried about how much potentially scary action would be in this for my son. Reading some of the reviews has alleviated my concerns. He loves computer animated shows and movies, and he really, really dug The LEGO Movie. So I'm thinking he'll love this. Saturday matinee, then!!! YEEEEE!!
  16. How is it tracking so far? A sub $200 million grosser? Or will it break out? It seems like a major crowd pleaser.
  17. This is my Birthday movie with my family! So excited. Sift Cupcakes, quick lunch, and then this. We may do the Metreon for it. I'm just thrilled to take my son to it
  18. Agreed. More than anything, it's not only a two-parter but the impact of the SHIELD is still reverberating. I'm hoping it keeps up like this, with the serialized story that incorporates actual characters from the comics. They can do a "MOTW" if they interpret like they've been doing Creel. They nailed Creel and his power set.
