it was good, i just worry the psycho-sexual kidnap-fantasy elements are meant to catch future predators, and i worry about those who might worry about it. there is a lot of pressure on minors who don't know what living inside their box is. this is a suspense movie so there is a lot of reaction gathering. i wish i saw this sold out at the theaters. the films gets irrational as a stalker journey with not much to say in between, the performance of Francis was confusing. but other parts were funny and it makes this a fun semi-horror movie. it's too bad something like this didn't open bigger and has to be found on streaming, because it is one of those sexual horror episodes, and is there to commercially fail. 83/100 - B

fun plot - two girls crash the last day of school. the awkward scene with the girls in the back of the car with the failed friend/entertainer with the music skipping was key (made me want to club the screen with a toy light-saber) . that part goes well with the girls waking up as barbie dolls after getting stoned and feeling out of touch. the movie ended with a party which makes it difficult for me to want to go with re-watches, but i would give it an A- for staying the distance as an energetic movie with its own identity and constant pokes. The script felt like it was written last month, but i don't think that will take away from its social influence. 90/100

i'm not surprised Aladdin is beating Solo: Star Wars at the Memorial opening box office. i'm just surprised at how funky they made both movies look p.s. those alien creatures on board the Millennium Falcon in TFA ruined the movie for me

maybe critics should list 2 or 3 movies that compare to the one they are writing about so people aren't gambling $20 on a 62% movie is Booksmart going to be a useless ratty black and white hallmark movie?

the best part of getting up this early is committing morning suicide, refusal, going back to bed, and waking up 8 hours from now. it makes life feel more fair. but i will probably have to pay for it with guilt and bible brainwashing

did anyone see The Rider? how did that make so many top 10 lists? that movie bugged me alot. I think if you have access to watch 300 million people in America, then a movie about horse trainers stuck in the middle of nowhere with brain damage, especially The Rider, would be art. i liked the teenage autistic boy who would talk like a girl, but what was the deal with her getting a bra for her bday like that. Stuff like that makes me hate people. i feel like i am almost that boy, just a little higher functioning, but how the hell are we supposed to earn wages? were we doomed?

why do they talk about Disney-film like it is jumping on the back of a truck? the cheesier they make it, the more suspicious i get i guess Disney is a club you have to sign up for, and people carry attitudes with their enrollment 🐇

Forever My Girl is a fun romance, but the county music themes get in the way of me giving this a better grade. Here is a girl who got left on the wedding altar by a county music rockstar. She was a church girl and it was a country teen wedding. He left town and pursued his career while the town supported her secret child. It is crazy how a town can be an organism like that with a church at its center. Hundreds of kids brought up together in a boot camp school structure from ages 4-19. He is singing about whiskey eight years later and goes back to town. He finds the bride he left, and she is working at a flower shop with a seven-year-old child hanging around. He discovers the girl was his daughter all along, and the mother seems unfazed by not contacting him about it. The daughter is a sharp kid who learns words at a young age, so she can get what she wants with persuasion. She nurses her stuffed animals, wraps herself in a blanket, and maybe thinks she is an egg about to be hatched. The romance is played out like the woman is slowly handing herself over to the man. She held onto her fairy tale childhood through high school and kept it with her daughter and the grief, remaining unfooled by fame, video games, almost like how celebrity parents slowly spiritually move around. She just lives with her secret daughter and works at the flower shop. She makes the romance with him seem very difficult by feeding hope of the burden of sharing herself with him and showing him her life. It’s like your heart is pounding and in love, are you ready for this assignment? It seemed so dreamlike. Like Bill Pullman’s ID4 speech. C+ 79/100

this is the world though. What is the requisite for the modern English speaking world? I'd guess 700-1100? Do you think about 1,000 is what the film buffs aim for with the festivals and all the premiers? in terms of keeping of with maybe 1000 movies in the premiere world every year, do you know how movie people manage to keep up with all of these, and still have time to survey all the movies from 1990-2019 years like they are in the present?

lol, i was just curious. As a movie person with 3 movies coming out per weekend, how many out of the 300 movies do you find yourself engaged with? don't movie celibates have sometimes more knowledge then moviebuffs about how the movies will turn out?
