I've watched the trailer a few more times and uh I really wish they had just been more confident in the source material Elba looks like he will be amazing as Roland, but really this should of been an HBO/Starz series. I hope this is good but from the trailer it really looks like they made the most cookie cutter/family friendly version of The Dark tower they could.

Looks like they are combining parts of the first and second novel into this film and looks like they are cutting out some of the best parts from the drawing of the three. And yes I remember the poster of Roland carrying the horn of eld but I didn't think they would alter his journey this much. Still it has some cool scenes and Idris is really nailing the gunslinger from what I could see in the trailer here is to hoping the film isn't a complete mess storytelling wise.

Movie felt way longer then it was pointless side plots and Charlie was better then he was in Pacific rim but eh he just isn't ready to headline a film. I did love the first 15-20 minutes though. I gave it a 5.5/10 my friend gave it a 7.5/10

Watching this tonight at 7 hoping it isn't too bad but they are hanging out screening passes to anyone that will take them.

Why are we still arguing over superman trying to kill batman or vice versa when we should be focusing our combined efforts in how the hell there is near HD quality from a random light post on a random road in the 1980's or early 90's but in the year 2016 we have one camera with grainy footage around a UN embassy. Finally got around to watching season 3 premier and wow this show is amazing. I'm dreading what is to come there is no way this show ends well for the characters and poor Nora.

Look Dom's powers are growing with each installment by the time FF10 rolls around Dom will be omnipotent and probably have a drag race against God through hell where he will win even though the Devil is doing everything in his power to stop Dom from winning. After that Dom will be the new ruler of the universe because family is everything.

Look inconsistencies are throughout in just about every blockbuster. And I'm going to be honest it is still mind boggling to me that CW is such a critically acclaimed film with about as many problems and WTF moments from characters and just plain stupid decisions by the directors as BvS but hey Iron man cracked jokes and it wasn't dark....or was it?

Lol I was messing with you I personally wouldn't care what GOTG2 opened too I'm still going to see it opening night and honestly it opening anywhere from 130-150 is where I expect it to land

Not sure if serious but the MCU would be in big trouble I mean seriously the DCEU should of been rebooted 3 times already and if JL doesn't make a billion they should reboot immediately

Honestly if GOTG2 opens below SS it's time to probably reboot the whole MCU I mean what a flop that film would be if it did that like you can't out open one of the worst reviewed superhero well technically super villain films ever. Yeah the MCU would need to really rethink their strategy going forward.

So curious what does everyone think the next solo SH film that will cross the 1B mark WW the last one to do it was IM3. And I guess you could say GOTG2 has a great shot but I personally wouldn't count that as it is a team same with I wouldn't count SS2 if it somehow managed to do it anyway I think the best chance in the next few years would be Black panther imo has the highest chance and next would possibly be DP2 but that would all hinge on if it's get a China release. And I do think Aquaman has an outside chance if JL is received decent and the whole VR IMAX thing is a worth wild experience.

Just got out and yeah it was an enjoyable I liked it better then 7, and Statham was great him and the Rock need a film like right now.

Wow that is insane 197M views. All they need to do is release one more trailer keep everything cryptic and this movie is going to explode. I can't wait to see this trailer on the big screen I'm half tempted to just go catch a new release to see it.

Didn't really like the way Pennywise looked in the first pictures released but wow he looks genuinely terrifying and I can't stop watching this trailer.

I personally think the books are great 1-4 are amazing then there is a bit of a switch up in terms of how the story unfolds but if you are unsure about giving them a shot, I would say the gunslinger and wizards and glass are a must read.

Great number for BATB and if it can do 170+ no doubt in my mind the lion king will clear 200.
