    A Ghost Story is oddly effecting and gorgeous to watch. Fantastic editing and some brilliant cinematography. Although it can often feel a bit tedious despite this. Definitely recommend it, if nothing else for its unique style. It's not often you get to watch a Ghost Story from the perspective of the ghost. Also, exploring loss from the other end of the spectrum is quite poignant.

    Life hack for FandangoNOW's streaming service. They have a refer a friend deal, if the friend uses the coupon you send them you get 50% off on your next purchase. Make an extra gmail, yahoo account, send the link to it, next time you want to rent a movie use the coupon on one of those accounts. Then buy the movies for 50% off on your main account. So far i've gotten away with it.

    Pretty much, next week's weekdays should increase from this week.

    I believe 17.5m would be a better drop than RO from its Tuesday, which compensates for TLJ having a higher Tuesday drop.

    The Last Jedi is going to crash down to 5m by Friday! That'll show Rian Johnson and Disney for messing with my Star Wars!

    I got onto the SC level with somebody Tinder. I realized I had been catfished when I saw their story, so I told them I hated cats and did not believe in kitten equality. Maybe that'll work, I'll get blocked and so it won't get awkward.

    Just got off the phone with Bob Iger, he told me "Tell that forum user, mredman, that we have bought out the theaters and are forcing them to stop showing JL. We were threatened by its unstoppable BO wave and didn't want it to pass our biggest film ever, Doctor Strange. We also wanted to spite mredman."

    This year's Christmas is Star Wars. They made the poster red to celebrate!

    All they have to do is say "The end of the Skywalker saga", show some space explosions and boom another 1.5B in WW ticket revenue.

    Obviously Paddington 2 is copying Star Wars and Star Wars fans are now worried their franchise will be surpassed by the bear!

    I will say, I do want to see a Star Wars movie with both a Jedi council and Sith 'council', so we can see at least one battle with multiple light saber on lightsaber action. Maybe in the Johnson trilogy.

    I saw CMBYN worth an hour drive through traffic to go see? Found one theater that's playing it.

    Nice, my local theater will have Darkest Hour and All the Money Christmas Day. Will get to check out Plummer. Going to see Shape of Water at some point between now and then too.

    Yeah I wasn't meaning no schools are off, but it's nowhere near the 78% for TFA (as Christmas was Friday). Thats going to make TFA and RO bad daily comparisons (especially TFA) to TLJ until Post Holidays.

    People aren't off yet, so cheap prices or not, the matinee showings won't sell regardless. Evening showings on Tuesday are where you'd see people go for cheaper but prices, but evening shows were already booked on Monday so it's a mini-effect of what happened with TFA and RO. I also heard AMC wasn't doing discount Tuesday for the holidays? Not 100% on that one, but that also explains if true. If it is we should see muted Tuesday bumps for other movies as well.
