  1. This isn't true at all really. Just depends on what app you're using. Tinder's pretty popular for example, although that's mostly for hookups (however I do know some people who started a long term relationship form a tinder date).
  2. Honestly, this is true. Every once in a while I'll feel lonely, so I'll go on a date and then I'm over ut about an hour into it. I reckon I just haven't found a girl who I work well with.
  3. If you really just want to try to see people there's no shame in online dating, or even Tindr. I've personally not really used them because I'm not really wanting to rush into anything, but they've worked well for plenty of my friends (good, attractive and normal people at that).
  4. You shouldn't try to date somebody until you're at a point where you don't mind whether or not you're dating somebody. Desperation really does reek off of people, and you're more likely to get into a healthy relationship if you're at a stage where you can turn people down. You shouldn't try to make anything happen, just live your life.
  5. I dont know if id call it good, but I enjoyed it overall. I may move it down to a C+ though. There's plenty of moments in Covenant that are really good, and then there's just as many mediocre to downright idiotic moments.
  6. I was talking about when you were relatively new here. I was complimenting that you've made progress (despite still saying stupid shit quite a bit).
  7. Are you just now realizing that? To be fair, at least he's gotten out of the phase where his top 5 all time were like Transformers, Rise of the Planet of the Apes (all while disturbingly calling Caesar his baby monkey), and High School Musical or something like that.
  8. Had Shrek 2 opened on Friday and not Thursday it would have, but even then that movies was also a freak of nature.
  9. Wonder Woman's legs aren't just great legs for a comic book movie, but they're unreal legs in general. Even large opening animated films don't easily pull WW like legs.
  10. I mean I don't care what they do with Transformers, but a grimdark Transformers wouldn't work. It'd be like asking for a Pokémon game that's about animal brutality or something.
  11. So you're sick of hearing the truth? I couldn't take anyone seriously if they tried to argue the opposite of either of those.
  12. I'm just saying who the franchise has been aimed at. Transformers has never been aimed at adults for the primary audience. The movies are advertisements to sell toys.
  13. Yeah, Transformers should do around 40m for the 3-Day, possibly going under, but I think sub-120m DOM total is likely.
  14. The original Planet of the Apes is effective dystopian sci-fi. It actually was aimed at an adult audience. And DC tried the grimdark approach three movies in a row and none of them got their material right. And you can take something seriously and still realize what concept your movie is over.
  15. Transformers is a series primarily aimed at older boys. Adults can enjoy it but it doesn't change the fact. Bayformers even more cements that, as the content in all of the movies is made to cater to boys in the 9 - 15 age range.
  16. Pokemon In a utopian futuristic society, Wars have been resolved. However humans still have a thirst for combat, in order to quench this they've resorted to hunting down and capturing genetically altered beasts and pit them against each other in animal fights. Spongebob A sponge and starfish get frisky in front of a depressed squid.
  17. Why? They're movies about talking robots that transform into cars, they should be aimed at children. They shouldn't be R-Rated flicks for mature audiences.
  18. All Eyez on Me is a crime against humanity, that's why it's plummeting.
  19. Baby Driver isn't a large budget film, however. I'm also not positive that The Mummy is going to net much more profit than it. I also dont think Hollywood needs to stop franchise sequels, but they're getting inconsistent in their grosses. They can't have more safe franchises if they don't take initiative to make them. Plus, audiences will grow tired of continued franchising. We've seen more than enough sequels to big hits bomb to show studios are going to have a hard time relying solely on sequels in the long run.
