  1. TFiOS had unprecedented social media hype and it couldn't even open to 50m. Internet hype =\= real hype.
  2. It has hype, but not even close to SW7 level hype. If it had that level hype, tickets would be on sale by now and it'd be at the top of the charts.
  3. Possibly, but the only one of those I see with a possibility of missing (without a major breakout from something else) is Sausage Party
  4. mine was 1.Dory 2.Civil War 3.Suicide Squad 4.Pets 5.X-Men 6.Ghostbusters 7.IDR 8.The BFG 9.Star Trek 10.Bourne 11.Sausage Party 12.Central Intelligence 13.Alice 14.Conjuring 15.TMNT My top 4 have a great chance at being in order. And I should get 13/15 or 14/15 (bar no other surprise breakout and Sausage Party breaking out), Alice will likely be the one or two misses I have
  5. I literally just scatter plotted the top 50 DOM movies of 2015 and their Cinemascore and there was no correlation at all between the movies multiplier and Cinemascore

  9. Ratings have no indication of quality. Blood, Bad Words, Butts, and Boobs don't make a movie bad or good. It's everything else that surrounds the Blood, Bad Words, Butts, and Boobs.
  10. Most PG-13 movies should be PG, and most PG movies should be G. There's also a fair number of R movies that should be PG-13.
  11. Did I mention of the 7 times I saw TFA in theaters, 3 were in IMAX and two of the others were a premium theater? (So only 2 of the viewings on a "normal" screen) In total, I probably spent near (if not over) 100 dollars on just TFA tickets, and that was just myself. If I count the tickets I bought for people I went with (IMAX TFA was my Christmas present to my dad) then well over 100 on tickets alone.
  12. Yeah, I think there's only been 1 or two times in my life I went and saw a movie before noon. Seeing a movie at night just has a more exciting feeling to it anyways.
  13. I loved Finding Nemo to death, but TFA was still a much more surreal and emotional experience for me. I saw TFA 7 times in theater's, and I doubt I will ever see another movie in theater's that many times ever again.
  14. Whats so shocking about a small, romance piece with no direct competition having better legs than a fanboy skewed comic book movie with poor reviews?
  15. What's even crazier is Dory will just be a few million off from beating the adjusted record of Shrek the Turd.
