  1. Let them take their time and get us the heavy artillery. Any idea of the budget for this third opus? I think they must have gone down a bit, CoG was at $ 200M, this one must be at $ 160 / 170M like the first one.
  2. James Newton Howard is a genius, i like his work on this movie, much better that the first one, more epic. This movie was not so good but this score was one of the best with Half Blood Prince for me. This is the best opening in the entire franchise! Epic, mysterious and truly dark. The music is wonderful The last minute is a masterpiece.
  3. What for? Ok, The Crimes of Grindelwald disappointed, but from there to fall below $ 100M? The fan community will take it to the top of that level.
  4. I think that once the first trailer is put online, we will already be able to see more clearly on the handling at the box office for this film. I don't worry about him in Europe where the franchise remains very popular, especially in France and the UK. The US will have to insure the $150M to remain profitable. I hope we have a simpler film, while keeping the stakes, and I want action, magic, not a long and boring thing like both, even if the introduction of The Crimes of Grindelwald remains a great moment, see the best.
  5. Jude Law on the streets of London last week, sporting a more plenteful beard, to play Albus Dumbledore.
  6. Even if filming begins at the end of summer, if it ends before the end of the year, is it likely to come out 11 months later?
  7. Dan Fogler announced in a recent interview" that many battle scenes would be present for this third film, and that he hoped to return to filming soon". In my opinion, they will capitalize the intrigue on more actions and "simplicity" to attract the general public and give a little aura to this saga.
  8. If they put a budget at $ 150M for this third film, it will already be easier to get into the nails. And I don't think they cancel the franchise, $ 1.465 billion for these first two films, it's anything but small even if the second has disappointed in the USA.
  9. Maleficent knows a nice course here, a fall of only 10% is planned for his second week!
  10. Only 27% drop for FB2 , and last prediction (with thursday's numbers) for the next week is a 25% increase.
  11. 21-25/11 (last update until wednesday with final score) 1. Grindelwald - 940k (-43%) 2. B.R - 425k (-14%) 3. The Grand Bath 285k (-21%) 5. Overlord 130k (NE) Bohemian continues to impress, Grindelwald remains first with a good lead over FB1. FB1 vS Grindelwald (admissions) 1st week : 1,420m vS 1,640m 2nd week : 860k vS 940k Total : 2,280m - 2,580m
  12. About thursday numbers, we have a new predictions for 21/28-11 week (not dollars but admissions here): FB2 - 990k (-40%) - total : 2,640 million admission after 2 weeks. BR - 340k (-30%) - total : 2,620 million admission
  13. The numbers are there: FB2 made 1.65 million admissions on its first week against 1.42M for FB1. And it looks like it's going on since the numbers on Wednesday, announces a 40% drop for its second week, or 990.000 tickets sold. (FB1 second week : 860k) There is a good reception here.
  14. After its first 5 days of operation, FB2 increases by 15 to 20% compared to FB1. For its full week, forecasts are 1.7 million tickets sold for Beast 2, against 1.42 million tickets sold for FB1. It is a pretty good score, especially with the national roadblocks in France against the government, now we will see his legs. The oral mouth is more positive than the US (3.3 / 5 of the press and 3.9 / 5 users).
  15. Pretty good jump for France, FB1 had made $ 9M on its first 5 days, we are at $ 11.7M, which should correspond to 1.7 / 1,8 million tickets sold, against 1.425 for FB1.
  16. It is obvious that Thanksgiving & Christmas will be there to give it wings. I believe in $ 410M minimum, the public is wider, and the reviews are excellent, word of mouth will make the difference, as the first.
