  1. Around $80 M. ($10 millions more should do in February) DM2 did $133 M. there. DoS less than $60 M.
  2. DM2 is not reaching $1 B only because it failed to deliver in South Korea (only $6.1 M.), the other 12 big markets delivered good numbers
  3. Welcome to the forums!!! :-) I hope you are right and Frozen is also a super hit in China!!!
  4. And don't forget Argentina's 700k. I would say 22/22.5 M.
  5. BOM numbers are here!!! Another great hold in Europe. Last Week $8 M. down only 16.7% from the week before ($9.6 M.) and it opens in Sweden next Friday!!!
  6. He he my mistake! I forgot the holiday and compared it with last Tuesday :-(
  7. Frozen dropped only 12% from last Monday ;-)
  8. Brazil: This Weekend 185k tickets sold -33% (Last weekend 276k tickets sold). Total: 3.56 M. Tickets sold. Argentina: This Weekend 136k tickets sold -6% (Last Weekend 146k tickets sold). Total: 1.39 M. Tickets sold. But in Brazil and Argentina there was a drastic change in the exchange rate last Friday. So in American Dollars Frozen fell 41% in Brazil and around 20% in Argentina.

  10. #1 Wolf of Wall Street $3.2 M. Weekend / $8.2 M. Total#2 The Book Thief $828k / $4.1 M. #3 Hercules...
  11. I totally agree! It is doable: 920 + 10 in Sweden + 30 in China + 40 in Japan = 1 billion
  12. thewrap.com "The 3D tale of two princess sisters added $20.2 million from abroad and another $9 million domestically, to raise its worldwide total to $810 million since opening at Thanksgiving." http://www.thewrap.com/frozen-passes-lion-king-810-million-global-box-office/
  13. You are right, $15 M. more only in Europe! 1 Billion is just around the corner now, even if it doesn't excel in China
  14. Frozen keeps ruling the charts in the summer weekdays of the southern hemisphere. It added $1.65 M.in Australia (Mon-Wed). New total $26 M. And $0.7 M. the same 3 weekdays in Argentina. New total $8 M.
  15. Last weekend Frozen also opened in Turkey 177,255 tickets sold $950,000 (DM2 did $0.8 M./$3.9 M. Opening/Total)
  16. According to BOM numbers Frozen did $9.6 M. in Europe last week (New total $276.7 M.) and finally passed DM2's $273.7 M. here!!! And it was not released in Sweden yet!!! After the release in Sweden it should have no problem in crossing $300 M.
  17. Cinesa said it was too expensive for an Scorcese movie... That is why they are not showing Wolf...
  18. I think it should do around $25-$26 M. in Brazil, that would be enough for the #4 for 2013. It would easily beat WIR within 2 weeks. Take in account that week days are strong there because of the summer holidays until almost the end of Feb. And Frozen faced the competition of Tarzan last weekend and it won!!
  19. No freefall in Brazil ;-) This weekend Frozen fell just 33% doing $1.6 M. New total $16.2 M.
