  1. Sing a long version in the UK + Half Term holidays in some parts of Europe. Last week it did $42. Let's say 30% drop this week. That makes around $30 + $12 M. in China (Wed-Sun). And we have again $42 + $504 = $546 + Dom $368 = $914 M.
  2. I would say $910-920 WW by Sunday. But it's Frozen so $920+ is a possibility, it depends on how Lego Movie does
  3. Finally BOM number are uploaded!! Sweden: FROZEN OW $2.5 M.DM2 OW $0.9 M./Final gross $6 M.TANGLED OW $1.8 M./Final gross $8.1 M.
  4. I've seen the add on TV more than a hundred times this week....
  5. Totally agree!! In Argentina Frozen is already the best January release ever according to tickets sold and it could finish its run in the top 20 most ticket sellers movies in history!!!!
  6. I don't understand where is the problem in getting "only" 10% of the showings... in the rest of the World Frozen had so much less than that in many countries because there are many movies on the theatres at the same time, and it did huge business... 10% means 1 screen in a 10 screens multiplex or 2 in a 20 screens one. That's the usual. Or am I wrong?
  7. Yes!!! I can't wait to see them!!!But South Korea did already what most of us where expecting for the sum of the 2 countries!!! So I won't be disappointed if it doesn't deliver great numbers in China.
  8. Last weekend Macau had 19.3% showtimes and it did $3.3 M. OD and $12 M. OW. So can we expect half of it for Frozen at least?
  9. The Book Thief opens on the number one spot with $1.2 M. 47 Ronin #2 $1.07 M.Frozen reaches $20 M. last Sunday with 3.8 million tickets sold

  12. And American Hustle did a little bit better than WoWS so we had a good weekend!!!I finally saw Der Medicus today at a half full theatre. Very good movie btw!!
  13. You should take in account that a January release in the southern hemisphere is like an August opening here.
  14. Totally agree! At least $900 M. by next Sunday so Frozen is not going to depend on China's numbers after all!!!
  15. Tangled did very good in Europe and almost $400 M. OS. Frozen almost double Tangled in the UK but in the rest of Europe Frozen did around 20-25% more than Tangled
  16. The songs on Mamma Mia are made in Sweden. ABBA is the name of the group, back in the seventies. There's even an ABBA museum there in Stockholm.
  17. I was looking everywhere but I couldn't find anything :-(
  18. Looking at the amazing numbers coming from South Korea Frozen could end the weekend close to $500 M. OS and $860 M. WW!!!
  19. Great second week for Frozen in Turkey!!! $3.15 M. after 14 days (almost $1 M. more than what DM2 did last summer during its first 2 weeks) http://boxofficeturkiye.com/
