anyway, this happened with other huge titles like Thor 2, that cloudy chances of meatball something movie and Monsters uni. they will settle eventually. it's their losses anyway.
because they are fighting over a different term specifically for Seoul distribution. Usually for foreign films the cinema chains get 40% and the distribution companies get 60% but the cinema chains asked for 50:50 deal for Seoul distribution, which is by far the most important and profitable one since about one fifth of the nation's whole population is concentrated in Seoul (10 mil/50 mil) and the movie going rate is also higher (especially for foreign films) in the capital city. Other major cities seem to prefer Korean titles over foreign ones.
This. and I once enthusiastically collected DVDs and when Bluray came out only a few years later my collection suddenly looked like garbage. Ever since I just haven't bothered to spend money on these blurays and dvds. something better will come out eventually. haha.
I was more thinking about the Mozart-Salieri dynamic seen in Rush when I said Rth was a James Hunt in that scenario. It's awkward to know that he doesn't look like Hemsworth anyway. bummer. haha
it was weird tho. all the big names and talents and they still managed to fail. Same happened with the Counselor, but that one seems to have got some supporters at least.
