    This thread....... I miss weekend numbers threads that actually discussed numbers.That being said - great debut for Stars reminds me I how Magic Mike behaved a couple years ago. Strong ww grosses for X-men take away China and it's still the largest one of the bunch by far (unadjusted of course).Nothing much to be said about the other 2 may blockbusters - must suck when the low budget comedy is going to finish with 75% of your gross.

     

    Ehh I am fine with how these threads go with all the random kookiness...keeps it lively in between numbers and/or updates plus its kind of interesting to see how everyone is killing their time (movies, tv, sports, etc) while waiting for the updates...

     

    Plus when the updates come in, we usually get a decent amount of numbers talk anyways if its worth talking about...

    I really enjoy how Predator starts out as a corny B-movie action flick like Commando, just with higher production values, and then all the shit starts to go down and things get turned on their head.

     

    I bet you the amount of steroids used by the cast of that movie hasn't been surpassed yet...

    After Iron Man 2 and Black Widow fell through for her they approached her to be Peggy Carter in the first Cap but I think with how her husband lost out on the role that wasn't going to happen.  But she'd be great as Sharon Carter - infinitely better than the prospect of what they have now...

     

    Or maybe the first MCU Villainess - Madame Hydra

     

    Yea Emily VanCamp was okay in my opinion but after seeing Blunt in EoT, for some reason I was like she would be awesome enough as Sharon Carter for Cap to actually fall for her...especially since Sharon was barely there in TWS, they can easily recast her with Blunt and gain a lot more than they would lose...

    By the way, Emily Blunt was freaking awesome in EoT and was spunky enough to give Cruise a run for who's the bigger badass...

     

    Also during watching EoT, for some reason my mind just went to Cap 3 and the thought that if they want Sharon to have a bigger role with Cap, can they just recast and get Emily Blunt to be Sharon Carter...this way Sharon actually can be awesome enough to be with Cap...just a thought...
