Every win La La Land gets makes me want to see it even less.

None of the worst films I saw were even nominated, so I abstained.

If @MrPink won by a single vote, that means that I -did- have an effect. Because I decided to abstain from voting in that category. ... wait, does that mean it would have been a tie if I'd voted? Dammit, that would have been so much better.

Not going to post my ballot, but here's some stats. I abstained entirely from eight categories. Half were because I hadn't seen any of the entries. Half because I didn't have an opinion on what I had seen. Conversely, there were three categories that I ranked every entry, and seven categories where I ranked four of the entries (giving a de facto rank to the fifth.)

It's not really that nuts. If they're looking at a way to distance themselves from looking like a Marvel, (and the actions they've taken so far seem to indicate this is what they're doing) they may as well focus on the one area where DC has a huge advantage: good villains.

Very few anime pre-record the voices. Akira was one of the few exceptions. (I think Ghibli might have done it, too, at least for some of the films.)
