Eh, both comedies can co-exist. Bad Moms was R-rated and female-skewing, while Daddy's Home, in spite of its PG-13 rating, geared more towards families (I remember a few kids movies at the time had Daddy's Home as one of the previews).
Insane holds for Hidden Figures and Split. It's amazing that we have two massive breakouts in January already (Yes, Hidden Figures was December, but it was limited).
Haven't got around to the list until now, but for my thoughts:
Surprised Arrival was #1. I saw you give more praise to Lion around the forums more, but I guess I just wasn't paying close attention. But I really can't complain about the movie being that high.

Still need to see a good chunk of the top 15, as pretty much all of them look great.
