I mean I guess, but I feel confident in saying there were bigger reasons why Assassin’s Creed bombed then just having a Kanye song in its trailer.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but I don't think there's a person out there that's hyped for Gladiator 2 that will magically not see it because a trailer plays a rap song. Just seems like a bunch of grousing over nothing if you ask me.

TBF, I do think it was reasonable, at least a few weeks ago, to think with Inside Out 2 overperforming like crazy and Despicable Me 3 underperforming domestically that DM4 could have done lukewarm business relative to the other movies. Though yeah, I don't think anybody expected the movie to bomb or crash or anything like that.

Agreed. Moderation @TomThomas has been threadbanned for 24 hours for consistent concern trolling and negativity. You can be negative on a film's prospects, but when you post the same thing over and over and over and over again, it adds nothing to the conversation, derails threads, and makes everybody miserable. It is in fact okay to just ignore threads for movies you don't care about or aren't interested in and not miss anything. It's not what you say, it is how you say it. That is all.
