They're just gonna keep on making new Star Wars, Jurassic Parks, Toy Stories, Harry Potters, and so on from now until the end of time. Kids do in fact watch these reboots like the adults do, and there are probably teens and young adults that are starting to feel nostalgic for the reboots they saw 10 years ago.

Back to the Future 4 sounds even worse. I mean all of these sequel ideas are terrible, but Michael J. Fox deserves his peace and quiet instead of being given some thankless "passing the torch" role.

Apparently both Will Ferrell and Jon Favreau did not get along with one another, which is why a sequel never got made. That's a little surprising. You can say what you will about Favreau's movies or whatever, but he seems like a cool, chill dude. I'm assuming Ferrell's a cool, chill dude, since I never heard anything bad about him.

Actually, last I checked, Henry Selick stated that he wants to do a sequel, but Burton's the one who is against it, and has basically vetoed any chance for that to ever happen. Though granted I think the big difference is that Henry probably wants that nostalgia money and Tim's too rich for that crap.

Well picture this...how about...we remake it...in live-action...but Jack...is...well...I think you know who I want to be cast.

I thought Burton's stuff was mainly a guy/gender-neutral thing, but I was schooled recently that Burton's big with the ladies. Which in hindsight makes sense. Pretty much all my friends who have Nightmare Before Christmas as their whole personality are women.

Regardless if this is good or bad...that Defying Gravity cover is already giving me the chills. I know I sound like a theater kid, but it's still one of my favorite show tunes ever, and they perfected it.

I...don't think I like this design.

I think I've said it before, but Detective Pikachu came out at the worst possible year competition-wise. No matter where you put it on the schedule that summer, it would have been overshadowed by Endgame, by Toy Story, by Spider-Man, by Lion King, and so on. Even in the springtime, it would have been overshadowed by Captain Marvel and/or the build-up to Endgame. Even the holidays were a bad time with Frozen/Jumanji/Star Wars. If Pikachu came out in July 2018 or something, it would have at the very least made close to Lego Movie numbers IMO, at least domestically.
