  1. From the Licensing Expo 2017. Is it bad I rolled my eyes at the quote?
  2. http://deadline.com/2017/05/jordan-peele-untitled-social-thriller-2019-release-date-1202100224/ Releases March 15, 2019.
  3. http://deadline.com/2017/05/angry-birds-movie-2-release-date-thurop-van-orman-john-rice-1202099617/ Thurop Van Orman (creator of Flapjack, worked on a bunch of other Cartoon Network shows) is directing, with John Rice (directed episodes for King of the Hill and Rick and Morty) as a co-director
  4. Anectodal, but when I got the trailer for Split for a movie my brother and I saw, he admitted that he thought it looked interesting, but was turned off by Shyamalan's name being mentioned. Granted he's very reluctant to go to the movies, but there's probably still some people who may know Shyamalan's name but don't find it as a reason to go.
  5. At least Amanda Seyfried's getting work again. I know Ted 2 wasn't that long ago, but it feels like forever since I've seen her.
  6. 8. Question: How much should I see of the series before I jump into this? The movie looks hella dope, but I don't want to get lost during it.
  9. Probably somewhere between Middle School and Monster Trucks. The closest comp I could find was $375K for Smurfs: The Lost Village, but that movie came out when Spring Break was still in session.
  10. http://deadline.com/2017/05/alien-covenant-diary-of-a-wimpy-kid-everything-everything-box-office-previews-1202097673/ Wimpy Kid: $150K
  11. First off, screw the Internet for spoiling the "Mary Poppins" joke. In context the line was so hilariously badass and it sucks I didn't hear it firsthand. Outside of that, everything else was rad. Some of the jokes sucked, but everything else was fun, emotional, and all that other good stuff. Whoever wrote that Zune joke needs an Oscar. Don't know what else to say.
  12. I believe somebody on the old thread mentioned how the browser version either is behind the iPad version or that it repeats or something? Don't know the details but I think it was @TalismanRing or @Matrix4You who said it.
  13. Well now that we've all said our piece, let's actually do what this thread was intended for. MT: 1. Guardians 2: 36.5% 2. Snatched: 12.6% 3. King Arthur: 11.5% 4. Alien: Covenant: 4.2% 5. Baahubali 2 (Telugu): 4.1% Pulse: 1. Guardians 2 2. Snatched 3. King Arthur 4. Alien 5. Guardians 2 3D Pulse Watch: 19 for Wimpy Kid, 43 for Everything, Everything, 4 for Baywatch, 36 for Pirates, 29 for Wonder Woman, 1 for Captain Underpants, and 11 for All Eyez on Me.
  14. https://twitter.com/krolljvar/status/864190413921329152 Claire Foy's top choice to play Gosling's wife (I presume that's the role).
  15. http://deadline.com/2017/05/james-franco-seth-rogen-comedy-the-disaster-artist-release-date-a24-new-line-1202094228/ Bae-24 is distributing, releasing on December 8 after "an exclusive engagement" on December 1.
  16. I believe the movie is going into wide release and filmlover's only talking about limited release movies. As for the question, The Big Sick seems the most likely. Typically indie drama-comedies do well in the summer, so Chef or (500) Days of Summer numbers wouldn't surprise me.
