Feel like with Jungle Cruise moving to July 2020, in turn resulting in Marvel's July slot being taken away, the July Marvel film (Black Widow?) will probably go into the May spot. We can argue whether it deserves that slot or not, but that just seems to make the most sense.
Look, I want Spider-Verse to be a smash hit too, but it's still coming out in a packed frame, the Spider-Man brand's been pretty oversaturated lately, it carries an art style that's not gonna appeal to everyone, and generally action animation doesn't result in success, unless comedy is played heavily into the marketing (see both Incredibles movies, Big Hero 6)
Ehhh, I do think some animated movies still use their voice actors in a big part of their marketing, even if it isn't as prominent as it was in the early 2000s. Boss Baby's main focal point in its entire marketing was Alec Baldwin voicing the baby.
Trolls and Ferdinand also had entire trailers that had the leading actors talk about the movie and their characters for 2 and a half minutes.
Runtimes w/out credits and trailer attachments for next week:
Hunter Killer: 1:52. Robin Hood and Cold Pursuit (that the new Neeson joint?)
Indivisible: 1:54. Attachments unknown (probably doesn't have any)
Johnny English: 1:23. Grinch and Dragon 3

Wowzers. When it comes to horror movies, Halloween eclipses just about everything else. This really could be a mini-Jurassic World on our hands.
