Also not in the Variety article, the next Alien movie is set for August 16. Went from streaming to theatrical I guess. So that's cool. There's also a Rami Malek movie called The Amateur coming November 8. A little surprised The Marvels didn't move, since I believe Dune 2 will make it impossible for that film to get any IMAX screens. I know that a lot of Dreamworks movies are made on the cheap, but this movie looks cheap. All the character designs look like they belong on a Nick Jr. cartoon, and only have slightly better than TV production values in terms of lighting and character animation. It's no wonder something this lame-looking is tracking so low.
