This is the most insipid Oscars argument ever. Does AMPAS have a crystal bal that will predict what movies people will “remember?” Especially since Spotlight is far from forgotten and how much people “remember” a movie is super subjective from person to person that is impossible to scientifically prove?

Weren’t you the guy throwing a fit over the Oscars not picking “popular movies” and that it made them “out of touch?” Now the idea of them awarding a popular movie is awful and bad? Okay then.
