  1. For the record, I gave him warning points twice in the past couple weeks and have told him numerous times that his schtick is old and tiring. Please do not think we're letting anybody off the hook here.
  2. CinemaCon rarely if ever puts trailers out for the public. Spider-Man is the exception, not the rule. And as an aside, can you please stop being overdramatic? Every time anything even mildly negative (and sometimes not even that) occurs, you're expecting delays and/or films to bomb like crazy. It's getting beyond old and beyond tiring seeing these kinds of posts.

  4. Disney and Warner aside, this has got to be the shortest theatrical window of the year, right?

However, Spiral is actually a decent comp here and things are pointing towards a positive direction amongst other trackers. I still don't want to go 2.9M like this is saying, but 2M previews should be the minumum and 2.5M+ is on the outside looking in IMHO. Either way, the film is looking more and more like a breakout, at least in the COVID perspective

  8. They're already putting out the Happy Meal toys for this like two months before the movie comes out? That's...weird.
  9. Having seen the movie, Simu is...alright. Like with Black Panther, Shang-Chi as a character is kind of a blank slate, but he's surrounded by a very memorable supporting cast full of great actors playing meatier roles that he can bounce off on and and intereact with. The difference however is that Chadwick had a more...magnetic screen presence and a stronger overall performance, though part of it is because Chadwick was a more seasoned and experienced actor than Simu. He's not bad however and I'm sure he'll get better in the role as time goes on.
