And yes, this is a good start. HOWEVER, Black-led movies overperform in ticket sales here in Philly, so I don't think I can use any fair comps just yet. The closest thing, I guess, is Boogie, another minority-led overperformer, which there translates to about...2.56M OD. Maybe that's a sign, but it is way too early and way too flimsy of a comparison. Really, this is a big "I dunno" at the moment that will really only help future Black-led movies.
