  1. Already doing that. I made this thread last year. Haven't updated to include 2023 data, but I do believe, at least in regards to Awareness, that there's a very strong correlation for most movies. And the 2023 data I have collected only furthers that IMO
  2. Pretty solid IMO. That's only 100 thousand less than Bodies Bodies Bodies' second Friday, and that was in 575 more locations. Hoping the momentum continues, because it for sure deserves it.
  3. Moderation Nobody's in trouble, but a lot of the "Swift vs. Adele" stuff and "will Taylor be cast in this movie" stuff feels off topic and fits in the Eras Tour thread. Just wanted to stop it before things got worse.
  4. I keep getting it because I'm going to all the Disney 100 re-releases, so I'm always getting the same three trailers of Wish, The Marvels, and Elio/Haunted Mansion. I always go on the weekdays in the smallest auditoriums, so there's few people anyways, but The Marvels trailer always lands like a thud, because the rest of the crowd are 5 year olds whose likely only exposure to Marvel is the Disney Junior Spider-Man cartoon.

  7. I think a lot of that is just that the bar is so low for TV live ratings that anything can get renewed, despite even the highest-rated shows premiereing to "instant pull" numbers. And frankly, making a new show to replace another one is a greater and greater risk every single season, even if it is arguably the cheaper option. Just as an example, Raven's Home, the revival series to Disney Channel's That's So Raven, has produced more seasons and more episodes than its parent show. But it doesn't sound or feel right when you consider that Raven's Home now barely even pulls in 100,000 viewers a new episode and That's So Raven could reliably bring in 4M+ every week back in 2005. Just weird times for live TV, lemme tell ya.
  8. I watch Abbott Elementary live and it’s always funny to see this different world of TV and saying to myself, “The Conners is still making new episodes? They still have Grey’s Anatomy airing? What the hell is an Alaska Daily?”
  9. Following Shang-Chi’s IM gets you 32.5M. If that happens, this is kind of a miracle, considering that old people don’t go to the theaters anymore and said old folks have the Queen Latifah show to watch at home. Good for Denzel. Always nice to see him winning.
  10. Just watched this earlier today and it's easily one of the funniest movies I've seen in ages. So absurdist and hysterical, with its odd little world and characters that are all hilarious and memorable. It's the kind of movie where you need to see it 2 or 3 times just so you can notice all the jokes you missed, and it's nice to have a movie like this again. I wish we had more comedies like this.
  11. A sequel feels kind of premature for a film that still just broke even, and I feel the movie works well with the conclusion it has IMO. But I guess I can't stop them and it seems likely to get an increase I suppose.
  12. I thought AMPTP productions couldn't get interim agreements. @Plain Old Tele how does this work? Because that seems odd that shows like these are getting a pass when they are from major TV studios.
  13. NOVA Welcome back mah boi. Feels like it’s been ages since you posted here
